If you’re thinking about how you’re going to effectively use AI for your business but don’t know where to start, you’re not alone.

Like many others, you’re probably trying out a range of tools and using AI a little bit here and there. You might even have chosen an AI model to act as your mentor, challenger and researcher.Or getting AI to help with information, images, writing emails, doing some analysis, taking minutes or writing reports.

You’re asking yourself:

  • When am I going to find the time to learn all this when I still need to run the business?

  • Is there a platform that is the best for my business and industry?

  • How much of a difference is it really making to the bottom line?

  • How can I measure the return I want from any investment?

  • Is it really going to grow my business?

And you don’t want to get left behind.

So, where to from here?

Align Your Business Strategy

The most important thing to do is to make sure your AI is aligned with your business strategy, not the other way around.

AI for Growth is about doing just this.

Taking the pressure off you to do the foundational work of AI adoption while you still run your business.

Bridge the Gap the Way You Need It

It’s the bridge to get you from here to there, innovating in a positive way that works for

you and your team.

It’s not changing your business, but amplifying

how you do it.  It’s centred on innovation, value creation and growth.

So you can build AI into your business the way

you need it.

Why does AI for Growth work?

Because it’s grounded in real business need

where the most value can be created.

It’s a structured approach tailored to your individual business.

And it gives your business the right foundations to prioritise and implement AI for the

short and long term.

AI shouldn’t drive your business strategy, your business strategy should drive your AI.

What's the first thing to do?

Let's have a conversation.

Before you can harness the productivity, innovation and growth AI can bring to your business, an initial assessment of your AI readiness will clarify your needs.

It’s hard to start without knowing what you have and how to use it.

Strategy

Where are you at?

Tech

What are you working with?

  • Assess existing strategic documentation, implementation and review.

  • Determine and document business, customer and supplier pain points.

  • Determine and document identified innovation opportunities.

  • Assess available resources, budget and potential models for growth.

  • Compile a catalogue of existing knowledge bases, technology, systems and platforms.

  • Define and document compute infrastructure, risk management, security and governance.

  • Define and document tech gaps and requirements.

  • Assess data quality, future tech scalability, system compatibility, and AI integration.

Human

Are your people ready?

  • Assess AI appetite, training and development, leadership buy-in, existing knowledge, gaps and skills across all talent levels.

  • Define and document existing AI use, accountability and controls.

And that's a full AI audit. Priced at $2,500 + GST.

That’s 40 hours assessment at less than half the hourly rate.

ABOUT

Lyn Cheyne

Lyn.jpg

Hi! I’m Lyn.

I’ve established AI for Growth specifically to support NZ businesses on their path to successful AI adoption and innovation.

I love regional NZ and have always strived to be part of the positive growth and development for our smaller populations. We’re unique and don’t always work the way big cities and other countries do.  Our approach needs to be tailored to us, however global we may go.

I have a 30 year plus successful career in business strategy development and implementation across a range of sectors and industries including wine, food, tourism, destination and economic development, aviation, local government and CCO’s, health providers and NFP fundraising.  Which is quite a lot, written out like that, but I have the qualifications and proof to back it up too.

There are two things in my work that have really excited me in the last 3 years, and they are AI and the Ten Types of Innovation[1], a framework used to identify new opportunities beyond just a product or service and to develop viable innovation.

My own journey with AI has been rapid.  From not wanting a “machine” to write for me, to initial dabblings with ChatGPT and LinkedIn AI Learning, I completed an independent 10-week Netmarketing AI for Marketers course, attended more workshops, and am now constantly online learning, doing and researching.

I quickly realised it is impossible for anyone to be across every tool, every variant, every agent, every app and every potential use case for AI.

But I did see and was really excited by the understanding that successful AI deployment is strategically led and will open the way for disruptive AI innovation when done well.  I want to help NZ businesses understand how to successfully understand, implement, and grow with AI.

I want to take some of the pressure away from business owners and leaders to help them get started assessing and aligning their AI ventures with strategic success.

I’m here to give you that.  I love it and it’s fun, even with serious business outcomes.

Lyn.
